Foto-Spot in Mallorca
Cap de Formentor
A road along a knife-edge ridge to a lighthouse, with drops to the sea on both sides — the most dramatic place on the island.
Über Cap de Formentor
Route anzeigenMallorca's northern tip, where the Tramuntana runs out into the sea. The road out to the lighthouse follows a ridge with cliffs falling away on both sides, and the Mirador Es Colomer partway along gives you the view back down the coast that appears on every Mallorca poster.
The scale is the point. Two people on that ridge read as very small against the drop, which is exactly what an elopement portrait wants and exactly what a family session usually does not.
It is also the most exposed place on the island. The wind here is genuinely strong most days — fabric and hair will move whether you want them to or not, which is either the best thing about the location or the reason to choose another one.
Beste Zeit zum Fotografieren
Sunrise for calm air, or late afternoon for warm light on the cliffs
Tipps
An hour and a half from Deià on a slow single-lane road, and in peak season car access is restricted in favour of shuttle buses — check before building a day around it. No shade, no shelter, strong wind.
