Foto-Spot in Sevilla
Metropol Parasol (Las Setas)
A waffle of pale timber floating over a square, with a walkway across the top of it.
Über Metropol Parasol (Las Setas)
Route anzeigenThe largest timber structure in the world, dropped into a square of nineteenth-century Seville. From below it is a ceiling of interlocking hexagons; from the walkway on top it is a curving path with the old town spread out around it.
Shoot below first — the underside gives geometric shade and a strong graphic ceiling above your subjects. Then buy the walkway ticket and go up for sunset, when the timber turns orange and the cathedral catches the last light.
This is the counterweight to a session that is otherwise all Moorish arches and whitewash: it makes the set feel like a city rather than a museum.

Underside any time; walkway for the last hour of light
Tipps
Walkway ticket is cheap and includes a drink. It gets busy exactly at sunset — go up twenty minutes early.
