Photoshoots here start from €279, and one to two hours works out at roughly €279–€450 depending on duration and the number of edited photos. Nerja and Frigiliana are six kilometres apart, so covering both in one session means allowing for the drive; many couples instead take the Balcón de Europa and a beach in one session and keep the village for another.

The Balcón de Europa is the obvious one: a palm-lined promenade on an old fortress terrace, with Calahonda beach and its fishing boats below. Frigiliana's Barribarto quarter has white stepped lanes, blue pots and ceramic panels in the walls. The Maro cliffs give pines above turquoise coves, the Águila aqueduct adds four tiers of nineteenth-century arches, and Burriana is the wide, easy family beach.

Early morning is best for both towns: the Balcón de Europa is empty before nine and Frigiliana's lanes are still shaded and quiet before the day-trip coaches. Late afternoon gives warm light on the cliffs and on Burriana. The season is long, with mild, clear winters that suit outdoor sessions from October to May; August is hot and busy, so shoot at the edges of the day.

Frigiliana is six kilometres uphill from Nerja, about fifteen minutes by car or taxi, with a local bus running through the day; parking is at the bottom of the old quarter and the lanes above it are steps. The Maro coves are reached on foot down steep, unpaved tracks — fine in trainers, awkward in a long dress. The Nerja caves have timed tickets, so check availability if you want them in the plan.

For peak wedding season (May through October), we strongly recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for Saturday weddings at popular venues. Spain's top wedding photographers often have their prime summer dates booked a full year ahead, particularly in sought-after regions like the Costa del Sol, Toledo, and La Rioja. For off-season weddings (November through April), you'll have more flexibility and may find availability with 2-3 months notice. Weekday weddings also tend to have better photographer availability year-round. Full-day packages of up to 16 hours are available for extended celebrations that start with morning preparations and continue through a late-night party or after-party.
