Photographers in Sitges

Sitges is what people picture when they imagine the Catalan coast: white houses, bougainvillea, a promenade lined with palms and the church of Sant Bartomeu standing on a rock above the water. It photographs beautifully in the late afternoon, when the sea turns metallic and the old town empties. The town has long been one of Spain's most welcoming destinations for same-sex couples, and a large share of the weddings and engagement shoots here reflect that. Forty minutes by train from Barcelona makes it an easy second location for a two-city session.
