Photographers in Toledo

Toledo sits on a rock inside a loop of the Tagus, and the classic image is taken from the far bank: the whole medieval city stacked up the hillside, cathedral and fortress on top. Inside the walls it is all narrow lanes, arches and courtyards, with Moorish, Jewish and Christian architecture layered street by street. The stone holds warm colour late into the evening.
